Tykime Davis is a multi-talented actress, writer, and creative visionary from Queens, New York. Raised in a vibrant Caribbean-Hispanic (Panamanian) household, she grew up immersed in diverse art forms that shaped her passion for dance, storytelling, theater, and history. By age seven, she was already performing dance pieces before hundreds, and by nine, she had written her first book—early signs of the creative path ahead.

In her teen years, Tykime lit up the runway in urban fashion shows and later graced the pages of Essence magazine. Her love for performance deepened as she took on acting roles in acclaimed Off-Broadway productions, appearing on stages such as the National Black Theatre of Harlem and the Dempsey Theater.

Driven by the belief that God gifted her creativity to inspire the world, Tykime published her debut children’s book, Yasmin The Warrior, a story about honoring your past to embrace your future. The book was later adapted into her first short film in 2021. Her stage work includes the sold-out production Love Under the Contract: The Call, and her latest short film, Are You Still Watching?

Beyond acting, Tykime is a versatile force behind the scenes, collaborating with numerous film directors as a writer, set designer, director of photography, and costume designer. With a wide and ever-growing range of artistic experience, she is ready to expand her footprint in the entertainment industry and continue bringing powerful stories to life.
